Join the Shire of Caer Adamant as we host day of all things scribal.
The site opens at 10:00 a.m., with classes beginning at 11:00. Dayboard will be served from noon until 1:30 when classes will resume. Classes will end at 4:30. Site closes at 5:30.

Updates on class offerings: Portraits; From Scribe to Binder: History, Process, and Roundtable; Heraldry for Scribes 101: Translating Words to Pictures; Using and Adapting Medieval Legal Documents for SCA Scroll Texts; Mongolian Letters; 30-Minute Gothic; Batard (hands-on); Theoretical Calligraphy; Painting Gemstones; Color Theory for Scribes; Fine Lines & White Work; Beginner Supplies; Scroll from Assignment to Completion; Quill Cutting 101; Giving and Receiving Critiques; One-on-One Feedback. And for the newcomers: SCA for the Beginner; Dressing the Part in the SCA; SCA Events; and How to Watch Heavy Weapons Fighting for the Non-FIghter.
Dayboard will include Vegetable Soup; Lombardy Rice (vegetarian and non-); pork handpies; mushroom and Ember Day tartlets; pickles and olives; and fresh fruits and vegetables.
For those joining us from distant points, there are couch surfing/crash space accommodations in Caer Adamant and surrounding environs. Contact Thorson (just Thorson) at seneschal@caer-adamant.eastkingdom.org to offer or request space.
Although pre-registration is not required, please email our Gate Coordinator, Amarie, (amanda.brizendine@gmail.com) if you plan to attend. A general headcount will help our layout and kitchen crews.
