Herne the Hunter - Seashire Championship, hosted by the Canton of Seashire Single Round Robin Heavy Weapons (Rattan) Champion Lord Barnabas O'Phelan Finalists Lord Barnabas O'Phelan Lord Drogo Lord Dalewyn of Anglessy Notes of Interest Each of the 11 fighters where assigned a point value based on their level of skill. Additionally the Baron and Baroness of Ruantallan awarded upto two points per fighter for Honourable conduct. The winner was the fighter with the highest combined total. Highlander Tourney at Herne the Hunter, hosted by the Canton of Seashire Single Elimination Heavy Weapons (Rattan) Champion Lord Guthfrith Yrlingson Finalists Lord Guthfrith Yrlingson Lord Dalewyn of Anglessy Sir Emrys Hawkwind Notes of Interest In the spirit of "There can be only one" the Tourney was a single elimination. Only Great weapons (swords or axes) where allowed. The wounding rules where modified so that only a blow to the side of the head would result in a kill. Everyone was given a token. To win, you had to collect tokens by killing your opponent. There were also extra tokens throughout the maze. The person with the most tokens won. 4th Annual West Windsors Lion's Club Renaissance Fair, hosted by the Barony of Carillion Baronial Rapeir Champion, Round Robin Fencing Champion Emaline Patterson Finalists Don Ricardo del Costa Verde Don Nigel of Castle West Lady Emaline Patterson Lord Andrei Kirlov Notes of Interest The winners of the tournament were Don Ricardo del Costa Verde & Don Nigel of Castle West. Do to other commitments, neither could be baronial champion. They each chose "seconds" and a second round of finals were fought. Lady Emaline Patterson & Lord Andrei Kirlov were chosen as the seconds, Lady Emaline came out the victor. She was presented the Champion Regalia of a short cloak (made by Lady Estrella de los Confinos) which has the baronial arms emblazoned on the back, and a buckler. Back to Tournament Results Page |
