Introduction
Toki Redbeard joined the SCA in the spring of 1978 under the name Garth Fairchild, He has resided continually in the East Kingdom. On August 13, 2006 at the Pennsic War, he was inducted in to the Order of the Laurel for his skaldic poetry. He is a Companion of the Maunche and of the Silver Crescent.
He is currently the Head of Vestfell Farmstead, a household within the East Kingdom, which is modeled on a 10th century Icelandic Farmstead.
His apprentices are Lord Joseph the Bold and Magnus the Stout.
His former apprentices are Master Grim the Skald and Maigistra Aife ingen Chonchobair
