Curved Blade Experiment
Good afternoon, as some of you may be aware, the Society Marshall has approved the Alchem curved blade for use in heavy rapier/schlager fencing. The East Kingdom has approved such weapons on an experimental basis, and I have been put in charge of the experiment. If anyone would like to experiment with such blades they should contact me and keep me informed of the results. Bear the following in mind: 1) Only Alchem curved blades are acceptable at his time. 2) They are not approved for general use and may not be used without first clearing it with me. 3) They must not be used in either tournament or melee without prior approval on a case by case basis. 4) If you use them, I will need reports back from you about what you learn. Curved blades are fun; I've had a chance to play with a couple. However, they have their quirks, which is why we must tread carefully. Thank you, Alexandre d'Avigne
