| Event Last Modified: June 10th, 2004 | | | | Event details | | In the Canton of Distant Shore there is a stone castle being built. Join us as we spend the weekend attacking and defending the stone walls of the castle known as Lornevale Keep.
Activities will include melees, archery, thrown weapons, stone soup and castle building. It will be the last chance to do some melee and camping, singing around the bon fires of war before packing ourselves away for the winter.

Directions:
Make your way to Nova Scotia
From Halifax (and the Airport)take the 102 North towards Truro. This will intersect with the 104 which you will take West towards Amherst. You will turn off at exit #10 towards Great Village(if you reach the toll booth you went to far).
From the New Brunswick, take the 104 to exit #10 (first exit past the Cobiquid Toll Booth) and turn towards Great Village.
When you get into great Village, you will come to a t-intersection were you will turn right, go over a small bridge and take the next right. Follow this road and watch for the signs. | | | | Event Fees | | Site : Adults $15, Children (under 12) $10. Family cap of $35. The NMS (non member surcharge) will be in effect for non-members. No charge for infants (under 2). Event fees are in Canadian dollars.
If you stay Sunday to help work on the walls of the Castle, there is a $5 rebate on your site fee.
Feast: $5 for feast, or a suitable donation (such as a lbs of veggies, loaf of bread, jar of pickles, etc)
