|Bishop Geoffrey Melee Tournament Revisited **UPDATED** ||Event date: September 10th, 2004 - September 12th, 2004|
|Hosted by Barony of Bhakail - West Grove, PA||Event Last Modified: August 26th, 2004|
|Come one, come all, for after a 12 year absence, the Barony of Bhakail proudly presents the Return of the Bishop Geoffrey Melee. |
This classic event will be held in conjunction with a very unusual demo to take place at the "Landhope Farm", in West Grove, Pa., an annual horse carriage and wagon driving skills event (http://www.laurelscde.org/ ).
The Bishop Geoffrey Tournament itself will be a three man melee, with the prize of hides from the Hounds of Denmark.
The revisited version of the Event involves fencing, and lots of it. There will be pick ups and demo on Saturday and a Round-Robin Tourney sponsored by the Bailiwick of Ivyeinrust on Sunday. Time permitting, there will be some melees as a preparation for Kingdom Crusades.
Baronial Brewing Champion: Brewers take note, the Baron and Baroness seek a Baronial Brewing Champion, so a contest will be held!
Baronial Jesters, the position of Baronial Jester is vacant and it is the hope that someone will jump up to the challenge of this position.
