|Good gentles of the Kingdoms of the East and Atlantia, once more unto the breach. Kingdom Crusades will once again give us the last chance for the summer season to don our armor, flex our bows and flash our blades before the cold winds of winter arrive. |
This year’s Kingdom Crusades will once again be held in the traditional lands of the Barony of Bright Hills in the Kingdom of Atlantia on the weekend of October 10-12. The site will open at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and close on Sunday at high noon.
There is no feast, but the campground sells on site meals. The cabins are not heated, but they have hot showers and indoor plumbing. Cabin space is limited. There are no open flames allowed in the cabins. The site is discreetly wet. There are no pets allowed on the site.
For the day-trippers there will be Lords and Ladies changing pavilions near the fighting field.
On Saturday there will be the traditional heavy weapons, fencing and archery on the field. Additionally, there will be classes and dance practice. There will be Great Court in the evening followed by a night of live music and dancing.
The event and fighting schedule will be posted in a future announcement. For more information see the Kingdom Crusades Web Page at www.crusades.eastkingdom.org .
The only reservation is a paid reservation. Please be advised that the $3.00 SCA NON-MEMBER SURCHARGE is in effect for the event, so please have proof of membership at troll.
