The time has come once again for the Barony of Concordia of the Snows to host our annual Crystal Snowflake Ball.

Last year we laughed while wearing the silliest of garb.  This year it will be as if the Elizabethan sky has fallen from the heavens to dance with us, as the Zodiac and the heavens above shall be our theme.

During the day there will be an extensive sideboard, dance instruction, mask making, and board games, followed by a two hour dinner break.  The ball begins at seven, please remember to join us for dance instruction in the morning as there will be no instruction during the ball.

Partake in contests to delight the eye at the ball by competing for best themed garb, best period garb, and best themed mask.  Prizes will be given for both adults and children in each category.  There will also be a subtlety contest, in which taste will be as important as presentation, as the subtlety must be wholly edible.

From the West:  Take your best route to the NY Thruway, exit 24, to Rte 90 East.  Follow from *** below

From the North:  From the Northway (Rte 87 South), take exit 1W to Rte 90 East.  Follow from *** below

From the East:  Take your best route to Rte 90 West, non-toll.  Follow from *** below

From the South:  Take your best route to the NY Thruway, exit 23, to Rte 787 North.  Take exit 5 to Rte 90 West.  Follow from *** below

*** Take Rte 90 to Exit 4, Rte 85 South.  Follow Rte 85 South to the Rte 20/Western Ave exit, which takes you onto Daytona Ave.  Take a right onto Daytona Ave.  and another right at the light onto Western Ave./Rte 20 East.  At about 1 mile, Rte 20 will bear right onto Madison ave, and you'll need to be in the left lane to bear left onto Western Ave.  Continue following Western Ave.  for 1 more mile, and the site will be on your left between Quail St.  and Lake Ave.  The site is a brick church with a parking lot.

Site : A fee of $11.00 will be charged to adults, $6 for youths 18 and under, children under 5 are free.  The event will have a $3.00 membership discount for adults.  There are no additional discounts for advance reservations.
