Fighters, drop your musically-inclined friends off at the 'Gentle Arts for a Winter Day- EK University' in our neigboring Concordia of the Snows, and come have a good time dusting off your melee skills.  Musicians, drop your martially-inclined friends off at the Melee Muster, and go have a good time at 'Gentle Arts'.

The Shire of Anglespur gladly announces our 4th annual Midwinter Melee Muster to be held Feb 15th, 2003.  We challenge fighters from all kingdoms to join us for a day of fighting.  Our cavernous hall will provide ample space for all forms of melee, and pole-arms are welcome.

Our Marshals Katy the Obscure and James 'Hawk' Gallaway will be organizing the fighting for the day, and there will be a substantial sideboard, but there will be no feast this year.  Any gentles planning on dining with friends at 'Gentle Arts' feast are encouraged to make reservations, as the feast is limited.  The site fee for 'Gentle Arts' will be waived for any with a site token from our Muster Event.  The University is a mere 30 minutes away.

School showers will be available for use after fighting and there is no smoking or drinking on school grounds.  All interested merchants should contact the autocrat by Feb 1st so we can allow for space.  Directions to local eateries and to the 'University' for diner will be available.

Directions:

Find your best route to I-90 (East of Albany, NY, the non-toll portion) On I-90 Eastbound, take Exit 11E 'Nassau' 'Rte 9 & 20'.  After about 0.5 miles stay to the right on Route 9, as Route's 9 & 20 split.  Follow Route 9 for 2.5 miles and make a right onto Maple Hill Road (CR-6).  Make a left at the three way intersection just beyond the railroad tracks(1.5 miles).  The school is on the right just beyone the intersection.
