Metalsmith Symposium VIII **UPDATED**

(At-a-Glance Event Information)

Friday, September 11th, 2009 to Sunday, September 13th, 2009

Hosted by Shire of Glenn Linn - Lake George, NY

Event Last Modified: September 9th, 2009

This is the Metalsmith Symposium VIII!

The shire of Glenn Linn is proud to host this industrious and class-filled event at a beautifully wooded 400 acre campsite that is located within the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains.  The many fire circles and open pavilions with stone hearths that are centered around a beautiful lake are great for all of the classes that further spread the knowledge, interest and diversity of the metal arts.

'If it involves metal, fire, or tools, MSS tries to have a class on it!'

**CLASS LISTING IS UPDATED ON THE WEBSITE:

At no additional charge, the few winterized cabins as well as many canvas covered platform tents with matressed cots are available for the duration of this weekend event.  The site's covered sleeping capacity is touted as 294.  So plan to pack more A&S activity gear by leaving your tent at home!  Reservations are now being accepted for the cabins, tents and lean-tos (please see below).  Multiple stalled indoor hot showers are also available.  The weather averages 74'F/50'F on these dates in Lake George, NY.

Please visit the official MSS website for tips on attending and what to expect.  http://ekmg.eastkingdom.org/mss/
