The Seventeenth not-so Annual East Kingdom Brewer Collegium.
March 7th & 8th, 2009 in Northpass (Peekskill, NY)

The East Kingdom Brewers Guild with the Canton of Northpass welcomes all brewers, and those interested in becoming novice brewers in the Guild, to the revitalization of the EKBG Brew-U, held once again at the Blue Mountain Trail Lodge, 435 Welcher Avenue, Peekskill NY.  Site will open on Saturday March 7th at 9AM and will close on March 8th, Sunday at noon.

Novice and Journeymen brewers who wish to advance to the next level should bring samples of their work and their recipes with redactions for review and consideration by the assembled master brewers of the Guild.

Overnight stay reservations include day-board and dinner on Saturday and a light breakfast on Sunday morning.  Reservations are $25 for Sat to Sun; and $15 for Sat only (for which you will be asked to leave the site after the classes, before dinner)[plus a $3 non-member surcharge if applicable]; Reservations should be sent to Baron Master Sean de Londres (John Cnapich, 215 Carlton Drive East, Shirley NY 11967).  Chefs for the event are Lady Ilya Scott de Londres and Countess Brekke .  Special dietary considerations should be directed to the autocrat with reservation (include a phone number should the chef need to discuss dietary needs).

This event is an overnight event.  There is space for 40 overnight guests.  Due to the nature of this event, overnight stay is highly recommended.  Advanced reservations are strongly recommended due to space restrictions.

Directions:

From Southern Westchester an All points south (NYC):  Take best route to the Bronx River Pkwy, to the Sprain Brook Pkwy north, to Route 9A to Route 9 to Welcher Avenue exit.  At the end of the ramp, make a right, go straight up the hill and into the park; bear left around the guard house and follow the road to the Lodge building.

From Eastern Westchester and Western CT:  Best Route tot Route 35 to route 202 to Bear Mountain Exit to Route 9 South, to Peekskill's Welcher Avenue exit.  At end of ramp/at light make a left, go under route 9, and straight up the hill and into the park; bear left around the guard house and follow the road to the Lodge building
