Strap on your belts, and toss the kiddies in the wagon. It's time again for War Camp. This year the weekend is a day shorter, but we've done our best to make it worth the trip, June 29-July 1 at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Warrensburg, NY. Troll opens Friday evening at 4 till 1 or 2 am for those late drivers. This year we've planned for something special is preparation for next year's 15th anniversary.

As usual we'll be hosting the following events;
~Heavy list Combat
~Archery- Currently we are in the works to hold a Competition which will have a prize of a Drinking horn with Scrimshaw or Carved from Valhalla Horns. This will be announced on site
~ Siege Range- Last year we began with a small Competition, for which we awarded our Siege Banner to, again we will continue this tradition and award a War Camp Siege banner to the winner
~ Thrown Weapons Pit
~ Fencing
~ Equestrian
~ Athena's Thimble Panel
~ Youth Fighting- Loaner gear is available, bring your own groin protection if you have it
This year the youth program also offers classes :
~ Bayeux Tapestry Weaving & Drawing
~6 board Box construction- Participants must bring own eye protection.
This year we are designating Quiet zones, for those who wish a peaceful night. So if you have children or just wish to be in a quiet area be sure to Tell Troll when you arrive, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
The site is discreetly damp, with no open fires. Fire bowls are permitted but be advised of any red flag warnings during the event. Due to the proximity of the horses we ask you do not bring or discharge fireworks or black powder.
