For the Second year in a row, Coldwood is going to go Roman and do as the Romans do....

Parentalias third festival, called Carista was literally a family renunion, where the living, now that they had paid respect to the dead, gathered to celebrate their own family and friends(and resolve any outstanding quarrels).  It was a potluck dinner.

We will be serving 3 Entre's and hope our friends will bring Side Dishes to let all enjoy.  Please e-mail the Autocrat or Feastocrat with what you would like to bring for the dinner.

The Dread Baron will be hosting fighting in the snow (if Temperatures arent too brisk) again to resolve any old quarrels and/or just have fun, since all the fighters seemed to enjoy it so.

And new this year is a gathered schola.  it is lead by our new Magister era (latin for Lady) Katherine Mattice.

Directions:

From Canada Take best route to Champlain Border Crossing,
From North take U.S.  Route 87 South Get off at exit 39 East (cumberland head) go past the Light procced 1/2 mile to second light, pass Store on right.  Turn left onto Cumberland Head rd at the light proceed on Rd approximately 1 mile St Marys of the Lake will be on left across from cumberland head elementary School.  tobin hall is to rear of Church, Parking will be at the School.

From South take U.S.  87 North, Exit 39 East.  follow above Directions.

From East Via Ferry, take Grand isle Ferry Across, from Ferry dock Turn Left, proceed Approximately 1 mile, church will be on Right.

SCA Signs will be in place.

Sitting royalty is of course free as always.

A $3 non-member surcharge will apply to non-members 18 and over.

Feast: Feast is $5 dollars and a side dish for all to share.
