Regalia

Kingdom Arms


Purpure, within a laurel wreath vert fimbriated Or, an eastern crown of three grand points tipped with pearls and two lesser points, all Or.

The arms of the East Kingdom may be worn by the King and his designated heraldic officers, usually Brigantia Principal Herald and his staff. They may also be used on Kingdom regalia specific to the King (i.e. clothing, armor) or regalia general to the kingdom (i.e. banners, processional items). Anything being made with a 'King's and Queen's/His and Hers' theme should use the Queen's arms, as noted below, for the 'Hers' part.

Special notes:

• The wreath is entirely green, including the branches. ("...a laurel wreath vert....") and is outlined in gold.
• The crown has two points smaller than the others. This is different from the standard heraldic eastern crown which has all the points the same length.
• The pearls on the tip of each of the larger points are yellow. They are not drawn white (or argent...) despite being called 'pearls.'

Arms of the Queen


Purpure, an Eastern Crown within a wreath of roses Or, barbed vert seeded gules.

The Queen's arms may be worn by the Queen and by her heraldic officers, should she have any. They may also be used on Kingdom regalia specific to the Queen (i.e. clothing, armor). Anything being made with a 'King' and Queen's/His and Hers' theme should use the King's arms, as noted above, for the 'His' part.

Special Notes:

• The crown is exactly the same as in the King's arms.
• The roses are yellow. The little seed pods in them should be red, and the little leaves between the petals should be green. Many times, these details are left out of depictions of roses, but they are explicitly blazoned here
• Kenrick Brigantia says: The wreath is blazoned as yellow. I've never seen it depicted this way, though. I think the green is the correct way of drawing it to parallel the kingdom arms.

Arms of the Prince


Purpure, an Eastern Crown and in chief a label Or.

The Prince's arms may be worn by the Prince and by his heraldic officers, should he have any. They may also be used on Kingdom regalia specific to the Prince (i.e. clothing, armor).

Special Notes:

• The Prince's arms do NOT have the laural wreath on them.
• The crown is generally drawn larger just to more effectively fill the space of the shield.

Arms of the Princess


Purpure, an Eastern Crown and on a chief Or three roses purpure.

The Princess's arms may be worn by the Princess and by her heraldic officers, should she have any. They may also be used on Kingdom regalia specific to the Prince (i.e. clothing, armor).

Special Notes:

• The barbed and seeded bits of the rose are not blazoned here. The barbs are optional in almost any heraldic rose, unless specifically blazoned (as in the Queen's arms). The seed cases, while not blazoned, should be there as they really make the roses roses.

Badge of the East Kingdom

The Blue Tyger may be used by any citizen of the East Kingdom to adorn pretty much anything. The Blue Tyger is frequently used to adorn items intended for the use of the Royalty or the Royal Champions.
