Event details
Welcome again to Bhakail's 2nd Annual Tavern event!

We hope to provide all with a warm and inviting experience at our tavern in the Ratskeller of the marvelous German Society of Pennsylvania.  There will be good food available all day, music and other bardic delights, excellent company, and gaming; including Bhakail's first ever Gaming Championship!

Entertainers are encouraged to perform if they wish, and we support any who would like to bring games to play.

We are proud to carry on the (so far) short but wonderful tradition of this event.  A warm and relaxed atmosphere with a chance for people to come and enjoy themselves without much planned save for food.  Last year's deputies, Ayleth le Frye and Þorsteinn Hroðbjartsson, are this year's organizers, so to the sign of the Cross and Crescent which called travelers to our last tavern, we're adding the Bear and the Phoenix.

Gaming Championship:
Help the Barony find its next Champion!  All interested should come armed with knowledge of medieval games - or be willing to learn - and compete to be the first Gaming Champion.  Any willing to vie for the role should be able to meet their counterparts at Pennsic at our annual period games and music night held in camp.

This is a wet site.  The Barony will not be providing alcohol but it is permitted so please feel free to bring some to share!

PRE-REGISTRATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED!

Pre-registration closes 1/21/16.  Attendance is capped at 60, due to seating, so pre-registrations are highly recommended.  Walk-ins may be possible but discouraged in favor of pre-registration, due to the capacity of the German Society's ratskeller (basement tavern) - if you are unable to pre-register, please contact Ayleth as soon as possible.  We will save some walk-in seats, but only so many.

Due to the space, merchant tables are unavailable.  However, in keeping with the theme, if any merchants do show up and are able to offer their wares (spices, games, jewelry, coffee, etc.) while sitting socially at a shared table, we could be open to the idea.  Please contact Ayleth to discuss.

Again considering space, there will be no separate children's activities scheduled.  Children are welcome, and we will ask that all entertainment be appropriately catered to the assembled crowd; after around 5pm, though, entertainers will be free to offer their full repertoire, so those with young children should be aware the evening's entertainment may differ from the day's offerings.

Site Opens: 11am
Site Closes: 11pm
