Event details
The Wheel of seasons turn, light fades as cold winds begin to blow.  Turning our attentions to home and hearth, we relight the fires and celebrate the Celtic New Year.  This year we include Our Baronial Investiture where the Baronial Seat will change from Baron Pierre de Tours to Baron Jean-Paul duCasse and Baroness Lylie of Penhille .

Our day of celebration will include our traditional games which are fun for all ages.  They include haggis hurl, sheep toss, and arm wrestling , it would not surprise us if Mistress Ose Silverhair plans for additional games and activities.  As we are fond of the gentler arts, Mistress Deonna von Aachen has worked with musicians to fill our day with music and we have allotted time for Lady Lorita deSiena to run a dance segment.  We have many attendees who celebrate their anniversary in the SCA at this event.  If you have never been to an event, all these activities make this a good choice for a first event.

A light dayboard , created by Lady Jaquelinne Sauvageon, will be available to all attendees.  The feast is not to be missed as it will be planned and executed by the head cook team of Lord Joel of Anglespur and Mistress Aoife inghean Conchobair.  As feast is limited, you will want to reserve early.  While there may be spirits in your heart and mind, we request that you limit your imbibing of spirits to feast.

IMPORTANT SITE INFORMATION:
NO LIVE STEEL is permitted outside of the feast hall area, so please leave the live steel at home.  Your co-operation with this will allow us to continue to use this awesome historic religous landmark again.  This is a site use requirement.
