|Bergental Heavy Arms Championship ||Event date: October 18th, 2014|
|Hosted by Barony of Bergental - Russell, MA||Event Last Modified: June 11th, 2014|
|My Lords and Ladies,|
Now that the Great War has been fought and our contingent of the Eastern Army has rested, we’ve taken time to repair our armaments. Now that fall draws near, I say to our most skilled fighters; Prepare yourselves for a feat of dexterity, strength, and a will to overcome your kin in a challenge for the position of Baronial Heavy List Champion!
On October 18, 2014, we will gather at Lord Moses’s great scout retreat in Russell, MA for a day of spectacular fighting. Here, our greatest champions will pit themselves against each other in a tournament to determine who will achieve the respected title of Champion of our Barony.
For those who wish to participate, but not vie for the champions position, be they competitors from our neighboring lands or fighters who have succumb to early defeat, there will be a second tourney of yet undetermined details. May it hone your abilities and test your limits.
Day board will be a pot-luck feast. Please bring something that is both delicious and when possible, easily consumable by our outstanding fighters while still in armor.
Gate will be donations as you are able to. Please support both the Barony and the Boy Scouts. We hope to make use of their grounds for other events in the future.
