Join the Mountain Freehold for a day of merriment in a beautiful, medieval-style hall.  A dayboard will be provided, along with the traditional egg races, contests, and silliness.  This is a dry site.

Activities will include games, dancing, the traditional Freehold egg races, pin-the-wings-on-the-dragon, a pinata, and other activities for all ages.

The dayboard will consist of pea soup (vegan), cheese tarts, farced eggs, carrots, cheeses, bread, butters, and spiced honey water.  There is no charge for dayboard.

Fighting - Outdoor fighting, and possibly a tourney, will be available, weather permitting.  Indoors there will be a tactics classes by Master Tearlach the Profane.

There will be a two-remove feast in the evening.  The first remove will be wine sops, roast pigge with purple sauce, appulmoy, salat, and shrympes.  The second remove will be salmon pies, roast swan (turkey), barley with nuts and feta cheese, salat of pickled vegetables, marzipan ravoli.  Please contact the autocrat if there are allergies or other food issues.

Directions:
From the north or south - take your best route to Interstate 89.  Take exit 19, and turn right onto Vermont 104 (Fairfax Road).  At the first light turn left onto Vermont 36 (Fairfield Hill Road).  Church Street is approx .1 mile on the left, along the top of Taylor Park, and the First Congregational Church is the last building on the right. 

 
Event Fees
Site : Site fee and dayboard are by donation (suggested $5 for adults, $2 for children), and no reservations are required but a notification of intent to attend would be appreciated for planning the dayboard.

Feast: For better planning in the kitchen, we would like to know in advance how many people will be eating the feast.  Payment at the door is fine, but please reserve your feast seat with the autocrat in advance, by Saturday, March 22.  If you reserve and then discover you can't come, please be kind and let us know.  If you don't reserve, we can't guarantee you a seat.  The feast is $10 for adults, $5 for children, under 6 free.
