Event details
The Shire of Hadchester (Incp.) invites you to join us in celebrating The Caristia -- a Roman based holiday celebrating Love and Family and the welcoming of Friends.  Is there any better way to break up the mid-winter doldrums than to visit with friends?

There will be Dancing led by our very own Lord Thomas de Winterwade and his lovely Lady Sara Stonely, a Medieval Games Tourney run by Lord Antony Martin and an Arts & Sciences competition organized by Lady Freygerthr of Visby.  We will have small prizes to offer to winners of the A&S and Gaming Competitions.  New this year:  Kids Bardic Competition and for the adults a Limerick challenge.  Donations of gear, fancy garb or your specially crafted item toward a silent auction would be gratefully accepted.  We encourage all those with musical ability to display their talents.  Last year we had an extremely fun musical diversion when the dancers ran out of breath.

Site Opens: 12:00 PM
Site Closes: 8:00 PM
