|East Kingdom War Camp
||Event date: June 13th, 2014 - June 15th, 2014|
|Hosted by Shire of Eisental - Lehighton, PA||Event Last Modified: May 20th, 2014|
|To help all make ready to defend these Eastern lands at the 42nd Pennsic War, the Shire of Eisental would host East Kingdom War Camp on June 13-15, 2014 at the Ukrainian Homestead in Lehighton, PA.|
The list field will open for authorizations and inspections at 9 am. We will start of the day with quick tournament at 10:30am just to warm you up; sign in for the tournament will close at 10:15am. From there the combat will take the form of battle scenarios.
James O Gallaghure will direct the fencing field as our rapier combatants make their preparations. The fencing field will open at 10:00am, and your day will consist of both singles and melee combat.
Our Captain of Archers, Lord Goerjs Goriszoon will once again be setting up our Archery range with precision and care. To say his ranges are a thing of beauty is an understatement, if you missed our range last year, here is your chance!
It was once said, if you build it they will come, taking these words to heart, We have been conspiring with the evil twin of Sir Tanaka to create Castle Takeshi on the battlefield and devising scenarios designed to, well, we are not sure exactly what, but we promise it will be fun! Both the heavy weapons and rapier combatants will have a chance to enjoy Castle Takeshi.
The Youth Combatants of our Kingdom will have their fill of combat under the watchful eye of Lord Raven of Rusted Woodlands. Perhaps they will enjoy a turn at defending and attacking Castle Takeshi?
All this and Merchants too!
Merchants are welcome; there is no charge for merchanting but MERCHANTS MUST PRE-REGISTER with our Merchant Coordinator, Lady Mary of the Stuwes (firstname.lastname@example.org) before the event. Please list, War Camp Merchanting, in your subject line.
The site is wet; there is a bar on site, and we anticipate the pool being open, however after an unusually harsh winter, at this time the pool has not been confirmed. We are also pet friendly as long as they are kept leashed and cleaned up after.
It is a big site but not infinite. To avoid camping space conflicts, if you will need a large space for your camping group, you will need to pre-register at least 10 people and include details with your reservation.
There is a modest motel on site as well as a limited number of dorm style rooms. Please contact Ellesbeth Donofrey (email@example.com, 484-547-4367) with inquiries on price and availability.
In order to speed up check in we will have a second gate set up at the list field for combatants arriving on Saturday morning.
Your site fee includes both the Eisental Saturday day-board and Sunday breakfasts whose quality and quantity are justly famed. Please bring your own feast gear to reduce waste and trash.
