|King's and Queen's Rapier Championship

|Good greetings, one and all! The Barony Beyond the Mountain is pleased to be able to host the King's and Queen's Rapier Championship. The Championship Tournament will be held during the day, with court to follow.|
In addition to the tournament, we have many other fun activities planned for the day. There will be a number of A&S classes during the day including:

We are also planning a fundraiser with the proceeds to offset site costs. Do some spring cleaning and dig deep in those closets! There will be a Silent Auction of SCA donations, with special emphasis on arts and sciences you wanted to learn but never did. Now is the time to gather up that loom, embroidery floss, pewter casting kit, carving tools, stained glass, etc, and bring it for others to learn! Please be prepared to write a donation sheet for each separate type of craft and have them in a presentable and portable manner so that others may easily see and bid for your goods! There is no food or drink allowed in the gym.
No alcohol, even in closed containers, is allowed on the grounds at all. The site is bone dry.
As this is a public school, there is no smoking on site. Not even in the parking lot. You must go beyond the parking lot to smoke.
No animals are allowed on site except Service Animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (guide dogs, signal dogs, or other animals individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability).

Take I-95 to exit 84 (Connecticut 32 toward Norwich/New London Waterfront District). Take exit 84E-84N for Connecticut 32 N toward Norwich/​State Pier/​Hodges Sq. Keep left onto 84N which will merge with CT-32N toward Norwich. Destination will be on left in 7.2 miles.
From the North:
Take I-91 toward Exit 30. Take exit 30 on the left for Interstate 84 E toward Connecticut 2/East Hartford/​New London. Merge onto I-84 E. Take exit 55 to merge onto CT-2 E toward Norwich/New London/I-84 E. Take exit 28S for I-395 S/​Connecticut 2A S toward New Haven. Merge onto I-395 S. Take exit 79A for Connecticut 2 Alternate E toward Preston/​Ledyard. Merge onto CT-2A E. Take exit 1 for CT-32 toward Norwich/Uncasville. Turn right onto CT-32 S/Norwich-New London Turnpike. Destination will be on the left in 0.9 miles.

Feast: There will be a dayboard available, the cost will be $3 prereg $5 at the door. Reservations must be received by 15 March 2014.
Izzy has planned a fabulous dayboard with a southern flair, but recipes used will be period. The tentative menu includes:
Veggies (carrots celery)
Pickled (veggies pickles olives)
Butters and cheeses
Hot and cold drinks
2 soups 1 meat 1 veg
Roasted meats. I'm thinking chicken and pork
Some form of sweet
There will be no feast.
