|EK 12th Night
||Event date: January 4th, 2014|
|Hosted by Shire of Anglespur - Troy, NY||Event Last Modified: December 10th, 2013|
|The Shire of Anglespur and the Barony of Concordia of the Snows invite you to join our revels at Their Majesties' Twelfth Night celebration. It is time for all bench-sitters to celebrate the end of the holiday season. Not only will we have a sumptuous dayboard and feast, but our site also has a cash bar.* We will have music, dancing, feasting, the display of our finest clothing and works, games, and more.|
We will have an A&S display for you to show your finest work and admire others. Individuals are highly encouraged to bring their personal tokens to thank the efforts of our artisans. We also hope to have a couple small salons to allow individuals to share with and learn from each other in an informal manner.
We have also planned at least two contests as part of our day. Bring your personal or household banner to help decorate the hall and you will be entered into a drawing for a prize. If you're staying for feast, we will also have a competition for the best laid table. Bring your best feast gear and other table dressings for the occasion.
There will be a fundraiser held benefiting the Royal Travel Fund. Master Liam St. Liam is coordinating donations to the cause. More information on the Auction can be found at http://liamstliam.wordpress.com/2013/10/07/royal-travel-fund-auction-at-ek-12th-night/
Little Details and Small Treasures A&S Display: We invite the artists of the East Kingdom to bring small things for our A&S display. The accessories that finish an outfit. Small projects that could be easily overlooked. Parts of projects to focus on small details. Show us the little things you're proud of.
"One shall amuse men in the hall, cheer them at beer, the bench-sitters will be drinkers - there will be great joy. One shall sit at his lord's feet with the harp, he will always receive his fee, and always keenly wrest the strings, let the nail pick the strings to ring sweetly, their voices leap forth with great desire."
- Fortunes of Men, Book of Exeter
