Twenty five years have passed since the East Kingdom Shire of Endewearde celebrated its change from incipient to full shire status. Today the tender young Barony of Endewearde eagerly stands at the head of a new path, certain to encounter many exciting changes as its journey begins. Thus we pause for a day to rest and extend welcome to our dear friends so they may join us in a 25th Silver Anniversary Celebration.
We shall rejoice in this occasion with displays of prowess in the combat arts of heavy list and rapier. There will also be lively dance, delectable foods and glorious song echoing from the fort ramparts. A light fare dayboard will be served as well as a mid-afternoon dessert of beverages and cake so we may gather to celebrate the good fortunes of faire Endewearde. Additional information regarding youth & other activities as well as site specific information will be posted on the baronial website.

Directions:
From Belfast: Proceed north on US Rte 1, through Searsport and Stockton Springs, immediately before crossing the new Penobscot Narrows bridge, take a left onto Rte. 174. Fort Knox will be approximately 1/8 mile up on your right.
From Bar Harbor: Follow US Rte. 1 south across the new Penobscot Narrows bridge, immediately adjacent to the town of Bucksport. Once over the bridge take a right onto Rte. 174. Fort Knox will be approximately 1/8 mile up on your right.
From Bangor: (two route choices)
On Rte. 1A South....follow Rte 1A South through the towns of Hampden, Winterport, Frankfort and Prospect. In Prospect Center, take a left onto Rte. 174. Follow Rte 174 approximately 4 miles. Fort Knox will be on your left.
On Rte 15 South....follow Rte 15 South through the city of Brewer and the towns of Orrington and Bucksport. In Bucksport, take a right onto US Rte.1 South and proceed over the Waldo-Hancock County suspension bridge. Immediately upon exiting the bridge take a right onto Rte. 174. Fort Knox will be approximately 1/8 mile up on your right.
