Greetings! The Shire of Montevale is happy to invite you to our annual pub event.
Activities
This year's games will include Darts, Chess and Backgammon. Our game master also plans a Nagel Spieling tournament. Marshaled Activities planned: Heavy Weapons, Fencing, Thrown Weapons, and Archery. More details later.
There will be a brewing competition. Entries are to be English Ales. Contact Autocrat for rules.
Merchants welcome. Please contact the Autocrat.
Evening entertainment following the feast on Saturday evening. Children’s activities are planned.
Food
Friday Evening: A pot of stew will be on in the Kitchen for late arrivals. Saturday: Breakfast, Day board, and Feast. Sunday: Breakfast. Saturday Feast is limited to 70.
(Off Board is Saturday breakfast and day board. On Board is both breakfasts, day board, Saturday feast.)
A children’s feast will be available—must be pre-registered by June 7 for children's feast.
Menus will be available later.
Facilities
Site opens at 5 pm, Fri., 6/21 and closes at 12 noon on Sun., 6/23
Same site as last year: St. Johns Camp, 17436 Stumpy Lane, Fort Loudon, PA 17224
Showers and flushies available on site. Plenty of open space for camping. (No ground fires.) Great fire ring in the woods above the main hall. 6 cabins that sleep 9 each (upper and lower bunks). The site is discreetly damp. *Note: This site is not ADA compliant. Please contact Autocrat for details.

From the East and South: Your best way to Chambersburg, PA and Route 30 west. Follow Route 30 west to Fort Loudon PA. Turn right onto PA Route 75 North. **Go 6.1 miles and turn left at Stumpy Lane. Go ½ mile; St. John's is on the left.
From the West: Follow Route 30 east to Fort Loudon PA. Turn left onto PA Route 75 North. Proceed from ** above.
From the North: Your best way to the PA Turnpike. Take the Willow Hill exit (#189) and turn onto Route 75 South after the toll booth. Follow Route 75 South for approx. 7 miles. Turn right at Stumpy Lane. Go ½ mile; St. John's is on the left.
SCA signs will be posted.
