King's and Queen's Rattan Champions

Spring is now here, sprung from the mud.
A Champions Challenge has been chosen.
Gather your arms. Glory is near.
Fighting, feasting, and festivities are nigh.
Come and compete for the honor of being Their Majesties' new Champions at Arms.
The tournament format that His Majesty has determined will have plenty of fighting for all.
There will be 4 weapons-specific tournaments, run consecutively.
The four weapons-specific tournaments will be:
Weapon & shield
Great Weapon
Two Weapon
Single sword (single-handed, no off-hand weapon or shield)
The top four from each list will advance to a double elimination tournament of a most unique nature.
This tournament will be fought with matched weapons determined by the Wheel of Fate.
The semi-finals and finals formats will be announced by His Majesty during the tournament.
After the tournament is over, there will be a feast held to celebrate the day’s activities.
Dayboard is available during the day as well.
Schedule:
10:00 – Site Opens
11:00 – Armor Inspection
12:00 – Championship Begins
After the first Round – Their Majesties’ request that all new to the Society and youth be present for an audience before them.
After the tournament - Feast with dancing as it pleases the attendees.
This is a discretely damp site.
No pets are allowed on site.
