Come, all soldiers, to the fields of Owlsherst to hone our armies' battle skills and prepare for War!  His Majesty Gregor and the commanders of the Southern Army call upon you!  Come, all artisans and scholars, to our fields and halls to share your knowledge and learn new skills.  Come celebrate and join in a full weekend of activities and camaraderie!

Combat and martial activities include:  armored combat Torchlight Tourney on Friday evening, melee combat and practice all Saturday; Youth combat; Fencing; Archery and Thrown Weapons, including a full track of classes. 

Non-martial activities will include Royal Court with His Majesty Gregor, tracks of classes, performing opportunities, merchants, and wonderful food at a beautiful site!  Teachers wishing to submit class titles and artisan wishing to hold demonstrations must contact Lady Orlaithe at blackswan20@comcast.net.

Merchants are welcome to join us.  Outdoor spaces are available; Please bring your own shelter.  There is a $5 fee to merchant this year, to cover additional costs we have incurred with the site.  Contact the Autocrat to register as a merchant.

As always, the food will be prepared by the wonderful Owlsherst Cooks Guild.  This year we are offering a full weekend of food!  Friday night, there will be a Traveler's Board with hot food until 8pm.  Saturday offers a Continental Breakfast for those camping, followed by the usual dayboard at noon.  Saturday evening feasters will savor excellent cooking in a theme of Travels through Time and Place.  A hearty breakfast will also be served on Sunday morning.  If you have any food allergies or diet restrictions, please contact the autocrat as soon as possible.

Please note that the site closes at 12pm on Sunday due to it being Mother's Day.  Volunteers for cleanup are welcome to remain later to assist.  Also, the site is damp.  Beer and wine in moderation are allowed in period-looking containers.  Please take empties with you when you leave; PA liquor laws apply.  Pets are not allowed.

Site Info/Rules:  The site is rustic and not handicapped accessible.  Anyone with mobility concerns should contact the autocrat.  The lodge and pool house, just off of the field, offer hot showers.  Housing options include the heated lodge space for 35 and group screenhouses with electricity for 100+ (beds may not be available in all houses, please plan accordingly.) There is plenty of space for tent camping but the site cannot accommodate RV's.

When sending your event pre-registration, be sure to include your housing preferences along with your contact information so you can be reached in the event of an issue with your registration. 
The gate will be next to the fighting field near the parking area.  Please park your vehicle before registering at the gate as there are no temporary drop off space available.

Take your best route to Interstate Route 83.  Take Exit 32/Newberrytown. 

If you are coming from the North, at the end of the ramp, turn right onto Rt.  382/Lewisberry Road and make a near immediate left onto Sipe Road.  ** Follow Sipe Road south approximately 1.3 miles.  At the stop sign turn right onto Sheep Bridge Road.  Within about .5 miles, watch for the SCA sign as the road takes a hard to see left bend.  The site is on the left immediately after the iron bridge.

If you are coming from the South, at the end of the ramp turn left onto Rt.  382/Lewisberry Road.  Pass under Rt.  83 and turn left onto Sipe Road.  Follow the directions from ** above.

Site : Daytrip:(site fee w/Sat.  Dayboard):  Pre-registered (until April 26):  Adults 18+:  $10, Teens 13-17:  $8, Children 5-12:  $5, Youngsters under 5:  Free.  After 4/26:  add $2.00 to all fees.
Weekend:(site fee incl.  Fri.  Traveler's Fare, Sat.  Continental Breakfast, Dayboard, Sun.  Breakfast):  Pre-registered:  Adults:  18+:$14, Teens 13-17:$12, Children 5-12:  $7.00, Youngsters under 5:  Free.  After 4/26:  add $2.00 to all fees. 
A $5 non-member surcharge will be collected for adults without proof of membership.

Feast: Feast:  (can only be purchased in addition to one of the above entry fees):  Adults:  18+ & Teens:  13-17:  $9, Children:  5-12:  $6, Youngsters under 5:  Free.  Please note that this feast has traditionally sold out before the event.  A waiting list will be maintained at the gate but there is no guarantee that a seat will open.
