| Come celebrate the A&S Championship of the Northern Region at the anniversary of the Barony of Stonemarche investiture . Scribes, woodworkers, smiths, weavers, clothiers and other sundry artisans; display your works and compete to be the A&S Champion of the Northern Region. Baron Juan Xavier and Baronessa Maria will also be selecting their first Baronial Artisan. Because of a site change, this site is DRY. Brewers wishing to compete, please contact the autocrat so that arrangements may be made.|
There will be a day long sideboard to ensure that none go hungry, and in the afternoon Their Excellencies will hold a tax court with our good sheriff Kieron (of Nottingham) presiding over appropriate rewards and punishments. Join in the celebration of advancements and the jeering of miscreants.
There will also be a gaming table set up for those who wish to test their skills at chess, backgammon and other board games.
A&S Champion Rules
This year we are looking for the 5 W's and How for the making and use of your show pieces: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How. Both verbal and written documentation are acceptable. The work you are entering must me completed for the portion you are competing on. Example: If you are entering for embroidery, the dress you are entering need not be completed as long as the embroidery is completed. You may have extra pieces that you are currently working on as examples.
In addition to the Champion, a populace vote for favorites in separate categories will also be held. The populace vote will also count should ther be a tie for the championship. (Baronial axes can be entered in the competition.)

From Massachussetts and Maine: Take US 95 to Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Take exit 4 onto NH-16 N/US-4 W toward White Mts. Continue onto NH-16 N (the Spaulding Turnpike) Go about 9.8 miles; Take exit 7 for NH-108 S toward Durham. Turn left onto Route 108 S at the light. Go through the next light and turn Right onto Rutland St just before the bridge. Go .3 miles and turn left onto Cataract Ave. The church will be .2 miles on your left
From Concord, NH and points west: Follow US Rt.4 through the rotary at NH Rt.125. Go 1.4 miles to the Dover/Lee exit. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and follow Rt. 155 5.2 miles to the traffic light. Turn right onto Bellamy Road. Take the third left onto Cataract Ave. and the church will be .3 miles on the right.
