On April 14 -- come and join the Barony of Smoking Rocks as we joyously celebrate the coronation of Kenric and Avelina the first! The Event will be held in the historic seaport of New Bedford MA at the also historic Masonic temple. The temple houses Masonic memorabilia and an 18th century lodge room as well as two very large spacious lodge room that will be used for sitting in state and courts. Come view the architecture and historic happenings at this the fist coronation of Kenric and Avelina! Come join in the pomp and circumstance and stay to enjoy the sumptuous feast prepared by Baroness Caitlin and the Famous Kitchener's Guild of Smoking Rocks! Enjoy the large comfortable building the spacious feast hall and the savory light day board as you await the festivities.
Day’s activities:
At the request of His Majesty there will be a bohort tourney so come and display your martial splendor and skill as well! An A&S display will grace the middle hall, where Their Majesties will seat in state.
The site will open at 9AM and will close at 10PM.

Coronation at 12PM
First court will begin at 3PM
Feast will begin at 5PM
Maximum seating for the feast is 150

Directions:
Make your best way to Interstate 195 in Southeast Massachusetts. Head to New Bedford.
Take EXIT 15 marked Downtown/New Bedford which merges onto Rte 18 South.
Take exit marked US 6 West {no exit number} follow signs toward Dartmouth.
When you come off exit and approach first light, it is best to be in 2nd lane from right.
Follow US 6 West, uphill, to second light. At light turn left, this is County Street.
Follow County Street through one light. Masonic Building is on right at second light.
