MARTIAL ACTIVITIES -

Heavy Weapons Tourney:

In a contest of stamina, honor, and prowess, heavy weapons fighters are invited to bring their favorite weapons forms (not spear, please) and arm themselves for bear.  Bear pit, that is!

The planned format is a bear pit, and the goal is to be the fighter with the greatest number of points.  How to accumulate these points? Each bout entered is a point, win your bout and remain in the pit and receive two points.  The more bouts you enter and win, the more points you will earn.

Fighters may choose to step out of the bear pit for a break, or continue until they are defeated or the tourney ends (whichever comes first).  There is no limit to the number of bouts fought except the fighter's stamina and determination.

Come arm and make ready!

Rapier Tourney:

Don Andre will be running a tourney that will allow for the most fencing to happen.  Based on the number of fencers the tourney will be determined that day.  Round Robin, Double Elimination, Slippery Slope… only Andre knows and with him, anything is possible.

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES - Children's Activities for Toddlers thru Teens will be led by our Chancellor of Youth, Lady Aibhilin inghean ui Phaidin.  All children aged 5 and under will need an Adult Assistant.  Please contact Lady Aibhilin at youth@ironbog.eastkingdom.org with any questions.
