| Event Last Modified: September 18th, 2011 | | | | Event details | | Hear yea! Hear yea!
And while the days be shorter and the nights grow longer, we look to see that soon they will be lengthening and gather now together to celebrate the coming of the New Year!
Summer's bountiful harvest has been collect and stored for the winter. Battles fought, contests won and duels adjudicated. The merchants return from weary travels and now we look to hearth and home and a merry feast.
Wassail! Wassail! - the time for cordiality draws near - bring out your dancing shoes, your finest garments, your quips and songs and merry tales.
Our Yule Feast coordinator has a great menu and recipes for an Apician Feast to be created by you as a planned potluck.
Please note our site is dry!!!
In lieu of a traditional gift exchange we will gather donations of canned and dry goods for the local food pantry. To quote a more recent author: "We Chose this time, because it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt and Abundance rejoices." Site Opens: 4:00 p.m. Site Closes: 9:00 p.m.
